I like the convenience of being able to track my diet and activity daily. Better then a book.

Amazing app. Clean, simple, versatile and rich. Wish i could change the date in the text pad as well as review page.

It’s nice that this works on the iPad. However, the app is not inventive and simply emulates a written page in a diary. I have to rate all of these things against Day One which works on the Mac also. If Chronicle were cross platform, a moment by moment diary or… I would be tempted to give it more credits. Its not and so you loose, rather than gain by going with this app.

I use Chronicle to journal all the hikes we go on in the Rocky Mountains. It is easy to use...nothing fancy about it...its just useful. I include all the photos from each hike in its entry.

I have been using Chronicle for several years for journal entries and collecting my thoughts for work and personal life. After trying a number of other apps I have stayed with this one because it is simple and easy to use, and I can find my historic entries very quickly. The one thing I would like to see returned to the app is bullets and editing tools from the previous version because the added functionality was so useful.

This app is easy to use and does everything as advertised. Glad I found it. For me, multiple journals are essential. I have separate journals for Every Day; Holidays; Family History; and the encryption is secure enough for a Passwords Journal; Medical; & Financial Data. Improvements I would like to see are: 1. A unique password for each Notebook. 2. Option for White Ink - to allow for invisible writing on a white page - until you change it back! FIVE STARS.

I love this app, use it as my personal journal. It has a password and Ive also used the data transfer to Dropbox when switching iPads so I didnt lose any of my writings. Its really useful and Ive been using it for years

I sure wish that this app worked more like a word processor. I find it very time consuming trying to get captions to go with the photos. Since the typing is done on a different page than the final page, you have to hit the "return button" and guess where the text is going to end up. I hope they fix this. I do like that you can resize and rotate pics. Changing the font and font colour is a plus.

Easy to use and customizable. This is a great app!

I like its ease of use and simplicity. A perfect note taking tool that can be used for extensive record keeping also.

For those who simply need to enter unlimited free style entries, I highly recommend this app. I am giving only 4 star at this time as I just downloaded this app a week ago.

I usually use Carl + space to switch English to Chinese and back. But in this App I cant do it... :(

I was looking for a journal and I hate my handwriting so this works for me. Theres even a handwriting font! I would recommend it.

Bugs in current version on ipad v 9.x - Export to text produces a file with each day duplicated - web site says export to pdf is possible but it is not - no way to import journals that were backed up - no way to delete a range of entries ( eg all of entries older than 2015 )

Productivity is simplicity. I would like to see pictures and text on one screen only. That way you can remove the flip screen for text. Also would like to see colour HiLite for words and sentences. I can honestly say I truly like this app. Keep up the good work....... Jim

Works for me: uncomplicated and responsive in all the ways I need it to be! A perfect little interface.

Great app for my needs. Simple to use, not overloaded with tools I wouldnt use. Give me a pen and paper and let me write. Or give me this app and I can do what pen and paper can do.

I use it to Journal events ... Basically to be able to jog my memory as I look back. - I wish that you could use different fonts within the text. And font change affects the whole body of work
