Chronicle - A Personal Journal / Writing Diary App Reviews

Ive been using this for a few years and love it! I keep several journals going, personal, pets my elderly parents, etc. have never had an issue! Love the app! My only wish is that it was available on all platforms and have it sync across them. Now that would make it perfect!

Ive only been using this app about a week it seems to work ok - a little slow when adding new notebooks and transferring files - the notebook update does slow the iPhone down (a pop up does say the developed should update the app to work better with the newest update) but so far the app is functioning fair and hasnt crashed or list any files - yet

I have thoroughly enjoyed using this app - love being able to jot things down when possible. Thx!

I love the easiness of it, being able to pop a picture in my entry is great! My only issues with it is the page doesnt scroll as you write, so you words end up behind the keyboard and you have to push the "next row" arrow to move your page. They have many page color options which are fun to change....but it changes every entry. It would be nice to have different color entries as suits your mood. These would all be nice fixes, but it really is a good free app and I would recommend it.

Cool little app that doesnt overreach! Does what it says simply and elegantly. This is what people buy apps for.

Ive tried lots of journal apps, and finally I found this one. Love it, wouldnt change the basics of it at all, but would love a few simple things like themes, ability to change colors of the in-app components, that type of thing. Other than that, I like it to be relatively simple and easy to use. I use it for lots of things, my thoughts, future plans, ideas, figuring out how to make things work, pictures, you name it. I suggest you try it yourself if youve been looking for a great journal.

Zero stars for this app. I bought this app Chronicle because the description states that multiple photos can be added to a page. However, when I add a 2nd photo, it covers up the 1st photo on the page. No matter how many photos I add, only one photo will show on the page. I want to add several photos to a single page --just like what the sample shows. So disappointed! I emailed twice and no reply from Customer Service / Steven.

First I lost several months of important info when I went from one I pad to anew I pad. Now they have one font that is cursive and difficult to read. You can control very little anymore . If they fix it I may use it again as it was my favorite before

I have todo a lot of notes for work and this app helps me keep situations in a chronological order. So far it has helped me a great deal

This app might be cool if it worked. Right now when I press the app icon it just goes zoom black, back to the app icon, I cant even get into it to tell the person who created it that there are some fixes that need to happen. But nothing makes me more angry than to spend money on an app that doesnt even work I think I will stick to the free ones. Im serious I want my money back.

I love the simplicity and the clean look this app offers. Unlike other journal apps, this one actually places the photos right into our entries, right by the texts. This app mimics the experience I would have with a real journal. However, I would love an option to italicize a word or words. Update: There is a problem with exporting entries as PDF. The pictures are over the texts and are placed not where I placed them. Also, I wish there was a way to know where the page cutoffs are.

I like this app a lot. I use it for journaling since I never remember with a notebook. It serves its purpose. A couple things to consider for future updates; options to safe videos to entries and a reminder feature that one can set as an alarm...solid app though
