I like this app very much. Since my memory is slipping, I need to write down things that I might ordinarily forget.

Works as promised... Opens fast ...allows for quick comments and journaling and closes just as easy. Inserting pics takes practice, but can be done wish it would be easier to backup and save copies but they will get it..

Its a pretty basic journal app, but its all I need.

So glad I bought this app several years ago! Researched all the options at the time and I am pleased with my choice. Easy to use. Option to keep multiple journals is great...one for travel, one for exercise, one for daily stuff. Easy to insert pictures and easy to search when you wonder when something happened. Highly recommend!

I have been using Chronicle since the original version and have found it to be a excellent application to manage events and information and provides the ability to do quick searches to find the information you need. The improvements are continuing to make it better with more flexibility. I highly recommend Chronicle.

This app works great for daily journal entries with a few pictures. But as the size of the entries increase (multiple day entries with many pictures) the PDF conversion has issues with picture placement and text overlaying. Text-wrapping a picture also has problems. Overall, a great app when using a cell phone for journalling.

I love the features and after trying almost all the journal apps, this is definitely the best. However, I would love the ability to change the backgrounds and fonts for each entry. And it would be great to have some sort of import feature so I can put my entries from other journal programs in this app.

Not a bad app if I say so myself. It Is user friendly, has decent graphics, simple to navigate through the different fonts and styles as well as the artistic part of it. I do not like that the "drawing" setting of the arts part though, much of it is pretty limited in what you can do but all in all it is a decent app. I would include different choices of "strokes" for the art part, like; crayons, paint brushes, water color, graphite pencil. Then create a blending function for shading/ blending of the color with your fingers. This could turn your journal app into a art portfolio app...just spreading ideas...

Easy to use, flexible

I love this app - no unnecessary features to clutter it up, just a simple way to record thoughts and events and look back on them later. The password protection is great (it doesnt have to be something complicated and crazy) and the ability to include photos is a nice touch.

Ive been using this app for several years. I love being able to go back to any day in the past to see what I wrote. Very easy to use.

I like this app but I would like it better if you could do more with the text, highlight, make some words bigger or smaller, underline... but it is ok.

Chronicle is a "journal entry" App,, I purchased it a week ago and it has exceeded all my expectations,, its just simply an "Amazing writers tool-box" that allows you to write stories, keep a personal journal (dated), and you can upload your own photos to go along with your story-line or for illustration, and its extremely user-friendly!!! I use it more for "Novel-Writing", and divide my work up into different stories by title, and chapters.. One of the coolest features to top it all off is, you can password protect your work for privacy!! Now I write all of the time!! Ive written more stories just by using my phone because of the convenience. Its affordable,, easy to use,, and all the nice features make it inspiring for the Novice writer or the Pro!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I love this app. I walk daily and take time to reflect on each walk. Its so convenient to just listen to music and write. I just upgraded so I can keep other journals close by as well.

This a simple, easy to use, straight-forward, useful app! Ive been using it since 2010. I used to journal in notebooks, but I like that everything is in one place and I can search to find a topic or issue I may have written about in the past to see what the history is for me. I appreciate the keyboard update for the iPad Pro. It would be nice for the text to expand the full width of the screen in landscape view when you leave the edit mode, its kind of strange to have all the white space on the right side. I also like the new font, Iowan. Nice job!

Chronicle is a great app and its so user-friendly! I have been using it for years and when I journal this is my go to app. I even use it occasionally for taking notes. I love that it has every entry that Ive ever written and I can even back them up. Maybe I missed the tutorial but, my main concern is that if I journal on my iPad I believe that those same entries should also be available on my iPhone.

This is a great journal. Love that I can put photos on the pages too!

I find the app very easy to use. I am able to quickly input date and information and even add pictures to remember the date by!

I love Chronicle! Easy to use, easy to organize. I have tried several other similar apps and they were too complicated. I am very very happy with this app! I recommend it to anyone!

Decided to get this app in place of the Notes app that comes with iOS. Im still undecided but gave it 4 stars because it is pretty nice on you learn how to navigate. I like the features of being able to designated different "folders" and then have the varied dated entries separate. Adding photos and creating separate diaries is also a plus. Two options I would change is adding the ability to "bold" words and italicize words. Also, when you save your data to the cloud it saves the whole file every time by adding a new entry and only changing the date. Files can build up quite fast. I would like it to make a single copy and ask what to do with it. i.e. Save the complete file or just what is new. Forget the date and keep the folder name.
